The Good Mood Clinic’s Learning Hub is our newest service to bring online courses to you. Courses that allow you to focus on key topics of interest and achieve results without the need to attend in-person therapy sessions or to compliment your individual therapy. We’ll be providing you with courses which cover issues we see repeatedly among our clients. Naturally, not all issues can be addressed by courses and self-help alone, so our traditional personal therapy sessions will always be available from our team of professionals.

The Red Flag Project: How to screen out ‘assholes’ and date with self-respect!
Are you a woman in the dating world or assessing your own relationship with your male partner? Do you have a history of getting involved with men who are ‘emotionally unavailable’, narcissistic or toxic? Have you found these relationships difficult to leave or have you noticed a repeating pattern of dating these types of men?
If you answered ‘yes’ to any of these questions, then we have designed this course especially for you! Do you know that there are certain ‘red flags’ which can show up early in the dating process or early in a relationship?
In this brand new 4-module course, we’ll take you through exactly what these red flags are, how to spot them, what to notice in yourself and the dos and don’ts of successful dating.
We give you loads of important & practical information to help you navigate your way through the dating maze so you can make smarter choices about who you let into your life! We are so excited to be able to bring this course to you and we hope it helps you sort through the highs and lows of dating, and brings you closer to meeting Mr ‘emotionally available’ and having the secure relationship that you deserve.

The Abandonment Awareness Project
The ‘Abandonment Awareness Project’ is a comprehensive 5-module course which will teach you everything you’ve ever wanted to know about your own ‘fear of abandonment’ and how it plays out in your adult life, especially in romantic relationships. An Abandonment Schema (or ‘fear of abandonment’) is very common and affects a considerable proportion of people – both male and female. In this course, we share with you our unique way of understanding your Abandonment Schema and why it is so important to understand how and why it develops, including an understanding of the role of core emotional childhood needs.
This course provides a deep dive into what the Abandonment Schema actually feels like, how it is triggered and the various coping behaviors or maladaptive coping styles people use to manage the schema and how these coping styles don’t help and just perpetuate the schema over time. Knowledge is power and this course provides you with the deep insights and understanding that you will need in order to begin to change the schema so that your abandonment issues don’t continue to run your life.
Schema Coaching
We use Schema Therapy to help solve common life issues and unhelpful patterns which keep repeating in people’s lives. Schema therapy is not just about helping people with serious mental health concerns or problematic personality issues. It can also be used to help each and every one of us. In fact, it can help with most issues, big or small, because we all have schemas and we have all developed unhelpful ways of coping with our schemas. These unhelpful coping behaviours can create more problems and get in the way of us living our best lives.
Schema therapy can help us understand ourselves better, as well as understanding those around us. It can also help us gain greater control over our lives in a healthy and balanced way. We use the Schema Therapy model to help people grow their personal strengths and develop a more compassionate and cohesive sense of self. A cohesive sense of self means that all ‘parts’ of us (or our psyche) work together to support our well-being, rather than having ‘parts’ of ourselves which sabotage us and work against us. There are so many practical and therapeutic applications of schema therapy and that is why we are so passionate about it.
