Phone and Internet Sessions – help is just a few clicks away.
Skype sessions are typically around 1 hour duration. Handouts and helpful reading materials are included and sent to you by email. You will be asked to complete and return by email (if possible) 1 or 2 questionnaires before your first session. This will help us assess aspects of your personality so we can better help you.
If you can’t attend our office for appointments for whatever reason, why not try our telephone and internet (using Skype) option. At the Good Mood Clinic we believe that distance or other circumstances should not be a barrier to accessing high-quality, evidence-based psychological help. Those who access our phone and internet services cite the following reasons:
- Living in remote or rural Australia;
- Busy executives wanting to access convenient coaching sessions;
- An inability to leave the home due to physical or psychological difficulties;
- Convenience due to other life commitments;
- Australians living overseas and not able to access local help or perfering to speak with an Australian psychologist.
We have found that internet sessions are a great way for our executive and workplace clients to keep in touch and access coaching sessions without having to leave the office.
We use Skype for our internet sessions. This is free video conferencing software that you can easily download. To use this service you require a reliable internet connection. For more information please visit the Skype website. We also provide you with helpful and informative resources such as educational handouts and other reading materials.
If you think you might be interested in phone or internet counselling, please call or email us to talk about the options available. We can let you know further details.
Currently, both clinic directors – Justine Corry and Dr Gemma Gladstone are available for phone or internet sessions.
