BA Psych (Hons), MPsych (Clin).
I have over six year experience working in a number of clinical settings, including private practice, university clinics and a hospital outpatient clinic. This experience includes working with individuals across all age ranges including adults, adolescents, children and their families.
During my training and clinical work, I have worked with individuals with a range of presentations including:
- mood disorders
- chronic pain; and
- survivors of trauma
I have a specific interest in working with survivors of trauma, as well as with individuals looking to change longstanding patterns of behaviour, and receive supervision in the area.
As an empathetic clinician I am passionate about working collaboratively with individuals and families so that they may gain a greater quality of life. My practice incorporates cognitive behavioural, acceptance and commitment, and mindfulness-integrated treatment modalities.
I have also trained in the treatment of child emotional and behavioural difficulties utilising a family systems and attachment informed approach.
A strong area of interest is schema therapy, and I am currently undergoing additional training in this modality.
